DESCRIPTION:Since its foundation in 2002 as a nonprofit organization\, HOLA has been dedicated to fostering appreciation for cultural diversity and promoting the successful inclusion of Latinos in the community. In collaboration with Ivy Tech Community College\, the University of Evansville\, the University of Southern Indiana and the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP)\, we developed a comprehensive leadership series aimed at achieving the following outcome: To equip participants with advanced professional development training that enhances their skills\,\nexpands their knowledge\, and sharpens their strategic thinking. This training empowers participants to navigate complex challenges\, make meaningful contributions\, and foster a culture of innovation\, belonging\, and continuous growth within their workplaces\, communities\, and organizations. \nThe Fifth Cohort will start at Ivy Tech Community College on August 7th\, 2026 \nNote: These six one-day sessions will be held over a year\, rotating between Ivy Tech Community College\, University of Evansville\, and University of Southern Indiana. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.\, and the event is free and open to the public thanks to support from the USI Foundation. \nDuring this discussion\, O’Leary will share insights on artificial intelligence\, entrepreneurship and wealth creation in what promises to be an inspiring and thought-provoking evening. The event will include both a presentation and a moderated Q&A with Dr. Nick Rhew\, Associate Professor of Management and Chair of Management and Information Sciences. \nO’Leary will be the seventh speaker in the Romain College of Business Innovative Speaker Series.
