DESCRIPTION:United Way of Southwestern Indiana’s Day of Caring is the largest\, coordinated volunteer service event in the area providing nonprofit organizations in Vanderburgh\, Spencer\, and Warrick Counties the hands-on help and resources needed to further their missions. \nThis year’s event takes place on Friday\, September 11\, in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance for the lives lost on 9-11-2001. \nWhen it’s time to register service opportunities or sign up to volunteer\, visit our volunteer platform\, Get Connected. \nIt takes all of us pulling in the same direction to make real\, tangible change. So\, thanks in advance to everyone who dedicates their time\, talent\, and treasure to addressing the challenges facing our friends and neighbors. Through this day of service\, we move closer to the United Way’s mission of helping all people thrive! \n
