DESCRIPTION:This is part of the SAVI Super User Learning Series – A 6 Module Series (Sept 26-Nov 7)\nDescription of SAVI Super User Learning Series\nParticipants will have the confidence to use SAVI and to provide limited technical assistance to others on the mechanics of SAVI\, as well as the basics of data literacy\, pitfalls\, sense-making\, storytelling\, and informed decision-making. \nWho should attend?\nIdeal participants are those who are looking to have a more in-depth understanding of SAVI mechanics\, basics of data literacy\, pitfalls\, sensemaking\, storytelling\, and informed decision-making. \nUseful knowledge before attending?\nA basic understanding of how to use SAVI and some experience working with and using data may be helpful but is not required. \nAll training offerings will be virtual. A link will be sent via email to registrants & calendar invitations. \n* Following each session\, attendees will be asked to complete a brief survey.  The information will help Grow improve the support and education provided for SAVI. \n \nRegistration is currently closed for this series – please watch for future opportunities

DESCRIPTION:Using Data in Grant Writing will help participants understand how to identify\, gather\, and use relevant data to support a successful grant application. Publicly available secondary data can help nonprofit organizations show the need for their programs and services. Data that organizations collect on their program implementation can help demonstrate how effectively they can meet the community need. We will give examples of how organizations can use data in the narrative of their grant application.
