The University of Southern Indiana in coordination with GROW and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance are excited to announce that USI will be offering a microcredential leading to the awarding of the Certified Nonprofit Professional credential.
The CNP credential focuses emphasizes learning about and demonstrating the skills and experience needed to be successful in leading nonprofit organizations. The CNP program emphasizes learning in six areas: managing nonprofit organizations, developing sustainable programs, nonprofit budgeting and finance, nonprofit marketing and communication, fundraising and resource development, and innovation in the nonprofit sector.
The Certified Nonprofit Professional credential is awarded by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and is nationally recognized. As a nationally recognized credential, the credential builds trust with employers and donors that professionals have the skills they need. Interested students register for the 1-course Certified Nonprofit Professional Microcredential at USI. The course is taught fully online by experts in the field so students can work fulltime while completing the microcredential in 7 weeks. After taking the course, passing the national exam and meeting other work and volunteer requirements, students are awarded both the USI Microcredential and the national certification.

The program begins in October, so applicants are encouraged to apply by October 10th to ensure space in the course.
