Each program offered by our staff is specifically designed to develop the servant leader that lies within each of the participants. Offering varying structures of the Community Leadership Program, Leadership Everyone wishes to help you find your servant leadership potential. With the guidance of our staff and the retrospective insight from class members, you will partake in an immersive experience.     Relationships and Power: Listening Well

    Join us to explore how intentional practices of listening can help shift power between philanthropic families and their partners, within grantmaking relationships, and among communities that funders serve; deepen relationships; and support equitable outcomes. Participants will reflect on how families can engage authentically with grantees and communities, ask effective questions, interpret what they hear, and respond in ways that strengthen mutual trust, co-creation, and agency. You’ll leave with actionable takeaways for how your philanthropic practice can be more relational, equitable, and grounded in the voices of those you aim to serve.

    SAVI Data Literacy – Avoiding Data Pitfalls

    Data is most powerful when you understand its limits. This workshop equips participants with some of the fundamental skills necessary to critically analyze data and recognize the impact of various factors on their results.    WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This workshop is important for anyone who wants to ensure they are effectively using and interpreting data.  WHAT YOU WILL LEARN  How and why to avoid treating estimates like exact numbers  The importance and impact of geographic variation  The benefits of looking beyond summary statistics  How policy changes or other factors may impact data  USEFUL KNOWLEDGE TO HAVE BEFORE ATTENDING No prior knowledge is required, but you may find it useful to attend the Module 2A SAVI Data, Tools, and Other Resources workshop prior to this one. In that workshop you learn about the data resources that SAVI provides.
