This session will help participants identify the most relevant data sources to understand their community’s upward mobility challenges and set clear, actionable priorities. Through real-world examples, you’ll learn how other communities have used data to advance mobility goals. We’ll also introduce practical tools and guidance from chapters 4 and 5 of the Toolkit for Increasing Upward Mobility, showing you how to apply these resources in your own work. Whether you’re starting your planning process or strengthening a data-driven approach, this session offers practical insights and tools to inform every stage, from assessing local conditions to implementing solutions.
