This series participation includes two members (board president or designated board member and ED), partner through this cohort-based learning experience, building communication effectiveness and implementation strength. In Sustain Abilities, the focus is on more engaged boards, building board culture, deeper donor relationships, with a financial plan developed by the end of the program, working toward long-term sustainability. This session is 2.5.

Have you wondered what you could learn in the Sustain Abilities series offered through the Welborn Baptist Foundation? This is a free, 1-session opportunity! The Community Impact Training Session is an Open Session, to be held on 9-5-24, 8:30 – 12:30 PM Central Time. This is a VIRTUAL session, open to any board members of your board, staff members or volunteers who desire an introduction to philanthropy. This session provides a condensed version of what participants experience in the Welborn Baptist Foundation’s Sustain Abilities 1.0 experience. This session can also serve as a “refresher” for those who have taken part in Sustain Abilities before. We see this as an opportunity to invite organizations, not yet a part of Sustain Abilities, to gain an understanding of philanthropic sustainability and the culture of building “advocates”.
