    This series participation includes two members (board president or designated board member and ED), partner through this cohort-based learning experience, building communication effectiveness and implementation strength. In Sustain Abilities, the focus is on more engaged boards, building board culture, deeper donor relationships, with a financial plan developed by the end of the program, working toward long-term sustainability. This session is 1.1.

    Grant Writing for Beginners Presented by Amy Bolek, Founder and President of Bolek Grant Writing, this is an introductory training designed to equip participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to start writing successful foundation grant proposals. This training is most ideal for individuals and organizations new to grant writing, or for those seeking a refresher. Objectives: Basics - Participants will gain new or improved understanding of the essential components of a grant proposal. Three Cs - Participants will learn practical tips and strategies for crafting Complete, Compliant, and Competitive applications that meticulously adhere to grant guidelines and requirements but also include unique elements to substantially enhance the likelihood of a funding award. During this half-day training, Amy will also share some experiences, valuable lessons and insights gained during her nearly 20 year tenure as a grant writing consultant. Click here to register
