    HOLA Professional Development Series

    Since its foundation in 2002 as a nonprofit organization, HOLA has been dedicated to fostering appreciation for cultural diversity and promoting the successful inclusion of Latinos in the community. In collaboration with Ivy Tech Community College, the University of Evansville, the University of Southern Indiana and the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP), we developed a comprehensive leadership series aimed at achieving the following outcome: To equip participants with advanced professional development training that enhances their skills, expands their knowledge, and sharpens their strategic thinking. This training empowers participants to navigate complex challenges, make meaningful contributions, and foster a culture of innovation, belonging, and continuous growth within their workplaces, communities, and organizations. The Fourth Cohort will start at Ivy Tech Community College on August 1st, 2025. Note: These six one-day sessions will be held over a year, rotating between Ivy Tech Community College, University of Evansville, and University of Southern Indiana. Light breakfast, lunch and materials included. Registration Deadline: 7/15/2025

You’ll learn how to build PivotTables and PivotCharts, create advanced formulas, use data validation and scenario tools, and leverage macros for automation. With these advanced techniques, you’ll be able to analyze and present data in ways that drive smarter decisions. Key skills you’ll gain: Creating and customizing PivotTables and PivotCharts Designing advanced formulas with nested functions Using data analysis tools like What-If Analysis and Solver Automating repetitive tasks with macros Leverage validation tools to control the data entered in your worksheet, including the use of drop-down lists Learn how to protect and lock cell contents for safe and secure collaboration This offering can be part of a 3 part series on Excel.
