Your organization may have data, dashboards, platforms, evaluations, or reporting processes, but are they actually helping people make better decisions? In many organizations, data and technology efforts stall not because the tools are wrong, but because the learning system around them is incomplete. This 90-minute interactive session from DARO will help participants think beyond tools and better understand what it takes to build a learning system that supports action. DARO will introduce its Learning System framework and four key stages: Discovery Design Launch Operation Using real organizational examples from IPA members, DARO will walk through the kinds of questions to ask at each stage, what needs to be in place, and what outputs can help move work from frustration to action. You may also work in small groups to apply the framework to their own data, technology, evaluation, or decision-making challenges. This training is free for Indiana Philanthropy Alliance members. |

As part of its 30th anniversary, the Urban Institute’s Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy brings together researchers, philanthropic leaders, policymakers, and sector infrastructure actors to examine the evolving landscape of charitable giving and philanthropy in its fifth Giving Innovation Summit. As part of this convening, we will explore the evolution of the infrastructure of everyday and […] |
